During a warm up routine on the first day of competition at the 2024 Olympic Games, four-time gold medal gymnast Simone Biles, appears to go through qualifying on a hurt calf.

Bandaged up in athletic tape, Biles still managed to shake off whatever fears she had, ran out onto the stage, and posted high scores, with a 15.8 vault, which was the highest of today's competition.

Alongside solid performances from her teammates, who were supported by the likes of a star studded crowd, it seems nothing is keeping her and the rest of the women's gymnastics team from winning yet another gold on Thursday.

For all my years of watching the Olympics, Simone Biles has always been incredible, and to think she's able to still be even a fraction as good as she is while hurt, is nothing short of inspirational.
