Former president Donald Trump, after making himself look like the buffoon he is at an NABJ conference earlier this week, thinks he still has such strong pull over his political opponents that he has now backed out of a scheduled ABC debate with Kamala Harris because he's a big, wah wah, cry baby.
After a long and annoying series of Truth Social posts yesterday, Trump has stated that he has backed out of a debate that was supposed to happen on Sept. 10 at ABC, because he's too much of a coward to argue with a woman who's about to gain an executive position.
He's also trying to weaponize a completely separate debate on Fox News that's supposed to happen on Sept. 4, making it clear that he's going to throw a tantrum for maybe an hour or two if she doesn't show up and agree to his rules. I'm not sure if the thought of Kamala doing the same thing with her time slot on ABC has crossed his mind.
But if Kamala doesn't budge, I could see Trump pulling out like he did at the 2024 Republican presidential debates, which is a funny sentence to string together given how Trump likes to, "grab em' by the pussy." Or maybe he'll learn to suck it up and go, like the balls of his 34 criminal charges in New York.But atlas, time will only tell.
